SOS Chile Chilean Villages invites you to participate in an online art auction, organized together with Misubasta.cl, which will take place between Monday 5 and Sunday, May 11. A wide variety of works of art that include engravings, digital impressions and paintings, of prominent national artists such as Roberto Matta, Matilde Pérez, Mario Toral, Guillermo Núñez, Carmen Aldunate, Guillermo Lorca, among others, with prices ranging from $ 120,000, to more than one million pesos will be offered.
The auction will be carried out through the Misubasta.cl platform, and is aimed at all art lovers who seek to acquire original pieces, contributing at the same time to a solidarity cause.
Osvaldo Salazar, national director of SOS Chilean Aldeas Chile explains that this initiative allows to make visible the impact that art has as a tool for healing and reconnection on families. “Through art, we get children and young people to express and strengthen ties with their families, promoting a more respectful and affection.

These resources will support the work in the preventive and outpatient programs that are developed in Antofagasta, Ñuble, Araucanía and Los Lagos, impacting more than 800 children and their families. Financed activities include psychotherapeutic support, parental workshops, link with support networks, recreational activities, sports and rights promotion.
This event will not only allow supporting this work, but will also promote the relationship between art and family welfare, highlighting the importance of art therapy in the organization’s preventive programs. Thanks to art, many families find a way to express and heal their most complex experiences.
