The Chilean Mining Chamber invites a conversation about the new corporate governance of the National Mining Company, in love, which will take place on May 7 at 6:00 p.m. by Zoom. The event is entitled “New Corporate Governance of Enami – Effects for Chilean Mining.”
“Some of the issues that could be addressed in the conversation include the strengthening of Enami: the bill seeks to reformulate the corporate governance of Enami to strengthen its management and performance; in addition to the representation in the Board of Directors; the impact on the mining industry; the challenges and opportunities, among others, which will be the subject to be treated for our guests,” said Manuel Viera.
He added, in addition, that every change that is made in Enami, is of the utmost importance for the country and especially for small and medium mining. “It cannot be forgotten that this state agency is recognized worldwide, not only for its promotion management, but also because it has avoided having illegal mining as happens in mining countries in the region,” he said.
On this occasion the conversation will be composed of the representative of small mining, Jorge Pavletic; the former executive vicepreteris of Enami, Jaime Pérez de Arce; the former prosecutor of Enami, Patricio Cartagena; the executive director of Aprimin, Sergio Hernández and the mining lawyer, Gastón Fernández. “All professionals who have been linked somehow to the Enami, who know their operation, therefore, we hope to have a great day of reflection, to which all are invited,” concluded Manuel Viera.
