All this was narrated by Cortés himself, who acknowledged that he took out the money that the man was claiming him and threw him to the ground as a sign of protest. “I said good, there he has his money, but he doesn’t come to try a thief..
“The old man ran to the truck and took out a machete. The machete raised me and tried to hit me. I was threatening that he wanted to kill me with the machete”he added.
As a result of this situation, the other workers of the Servicentro had to intervene, after which the driver proceeded to escape.
While Cortés denounced the fact before Carabineros, for the crime of threats, so far the driver involved still is not identified.
Finally, it should be noted that the firefighter acknowledges that he insulted the client, but also ensures that after the threat of death with the machete, he was psychologically affected by fear that the subject returns to his workplace.
