The murder of 25 Colombian police and military in two weeks and the public order situation in our country, in recent months, make me think that something is very bad about what our president has called total peace; I think we got into an impossible task and we sought before bringing the beasts; We did not know where we were going or who we were going to find; This, in a flat language, means lack of planning and total approach to populism. I don’t know if it’s pessimistic, but I don’t want to see our military in their command positions and operations waiting for a safe death.
In the words of many followers and opponents, the Gulf clan, the dissidents of the FARC and the ELN have intensified the murder of children of the people, while Petro ensures that this violent death of public servants obeys a “gun plan” ordered by the Gulf clan; The truth is that we are living an extremely critical situation that is not resolved either with speeches, or messages through networks or with answering bochinches.
The implementation of a true total peace would have contributed to the reduction of violence and insecurity in the country; to the attraction of investment; to the stimulus of economic growth and the improvement of the living conditions of the population; Likewise, that so -called total peace would have been an important step towards national reconciliation to overcome the wounds of the past and work together towards a more prosperous future; Incidentally, the successful implementation of that proposal would have contributed to improving Colombia’s image abroad with the consequent positive impact on international economy and cooperation.
However, he has had to face significant challenges, such as lack of resources, the resistance of some armed groups and the need to address the deep causes of the conflict; In the same way, it can generate risks of impunity and distrust or resistance by some sectors of Colombian society. On the other hand, its implementation may require significant investments in development, justice and security programs, which can become a challenge for the national budget.
I think it is important to suggest that the so -called dialogues are not carried out simultaneously with all groups outside the law; that priorities are established to respond to Colombian reality; In addition, that political leaders and Colombian society work together to overcome obstacles and build a sustainable and lasting peace.
