This is Jhon Jairo Tamayo, whose body was recovered by relief agencies this Sunday, May 4as confirmed by Mayor Federico Gutiérrez through his social networks.
“With deep pain we confirmed the recovery of the body of Jhon Jairo Tamayo, one of the two street inhabitants who had been reported as missing after flooding,” the president wrote in his official X account.
He also expressed solidarity with the victim’s family and said he continues the search for Carlos Enrique Sánchez, the second person who would have been dragged by the growing of the Medellín River.
