Fenalco and Andi presented the most recent report of new vehicle registration with a cut to April 2025, where an outstanding performance highlights 17,415 units, which represents a 14% growth compared to April 2024.
According to the report, this behavior reflects a sustained recovery of the sector in recent months, since in the first four months 67,261 new vehicles were enrolled, presenting a accumulated growth of 20.5% compared to the same period of 2024.
The sale of electric vehicles grows by 254.3% with 1,286 units sold compared to April 2024. The sale of hybrid vehicles grows 22.2% with 4,245 units sold compared to April 2024.

The five brands with the highest registrations in April were: Kia, Renault, Mazda, Toyota and Chevrolet with market shares in the order of 12.5%, 12.5%, 10.7%, 10.5% and 7.5% representing 53.6% of the total vehicles enrolled in the fourth month of the year.
However, in the accumulated of 2025, the five brands of new vehicles with the highest registration between January and April were: Renault, Kia, Toyota, Mazda and Chevrolet with market shares in the order of 13.8%, 13.3%, 10.2%, 9.5% and 8.3% representing 55.2% of the total registration.
In April, the stakes per line were: Mazda CX-30 with 3.9%, Toyota Corolla Cross with 3.2%, Mazda 2 with 3.0%, Renault Kardian with 2.6%and Renault Duster with 2.5%of the market, occupying the first five enrollment places in the country; These five lines represented 15.1% of the total registered in the fourth month of the year.
Between January and April, the stakes per line were: Mazda CX-30 with 3.5%, Renault Duster with 3.3%, Toyota Corroly Cross with 3.3%, Mazda 2 with 2.8%and Kia Picanto with 2.6%of the market, occupying the first five registration places in the country; These five lines represented 15.6% of the total enrolled so far in 2025.
