Specialized launches a limited edition of the S-Works Tarmac SL8 with golden finish to honor the legendary season of the Belgian champion Remco Evenepoel.
In 2024, while Specialized celebrated its 50th anniversary, Remco Evenepoel signed a historical season full of victories, such as the double Olympic gold on the route and counterreloj, the title of world champion counterreloj, and a podium with the Maglia Blanca in its first tour of France. The Belgian consolidated his status as the fastest man on the planet and Specialized has wanted to share it.
To pay tribute to that golden year, Specialized presents the SL8 SL8 Remco “Golden Season” LTD, a spectacular bike with a golden finish that will be in limited edition of only 272 units worldwide. The assembly includes the same components used by the Quick-Step Soudal team.
This exclusive model incorporates the S-Works Tarmac SL8 box in FACT 12R Carbon with aerodynamic engineering “Win Tunnel”, the full 12-speed Shimano DI2 group with di2 with dual potentiometer 4iiii Precision 3+ Pro, and ROVAL RAVAL RAVID RAVIDE RAVIDE CLX II TUBELESS.
Integrated Rabal Rabel Cockpit, the S-Works Power Mirror armchairs, Turbo Rapidair S-Works tires and luxury finishes, such as the Super Sticky Kush Super Sticky Mangazan Finance, complete a machine made for the show.
In addition to golden painting, it includes aesthetic details, such as the “Make the Break” graph of the Soudal Quick-Step team reinterpreted in gold and carbon tones, Remco’s personal logo and the Wolfpack emblem.
