Barcelona hosts this weekend the start of the 2025 female cycling return, with a team counter -time that will be played on Sunday, May 4. To guarantee the safety of the event, traffic cuts and parking restrictions have been scheduled in various streets in the city center.

The course of the race is as follows: Paseo de Gràcia – Provença – Aribau – Av. Diagonal (central road, mountain side) – Francesc Macià Plaza (mountain side) – Diagonal Avenue (central road, mountain side) – 180º turn in Pere Duran Farell – Av. Diagonal (central road, sea side) – pl. Francesc Macià (sea side) – av. Diagonal (central road, sea side) – Muntaner – Mallorca (in the opposite direction) and Paseo de Gràcia.
Cortes for Saturday May 3
From 3:00 p.m. on Saturday they are closed to traffic. the central road of the Paseo de Gràcia; Provença Street, between Pau Claris and La Rambla de Catalunya and Mallorca Street, between Pau Claris and Balmes. Access to parking in these areas is only allowed.
Cortes for Sunday May 4
From 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, all the roads of the Paseo de Gràcia will be cut, between the Plaza del Cinco D’Oros and La Calle Aragó. Also Pau Claris Street, between Diagonal Avenue and Valencia Street. Rosselló and València streets, between Balmes and Pau Claris. And, finally, the Rambla de Catalunya, between Còrsega and Aragó.
The traffic will be gradually restored as the infrastructure of the event is disassembled, being the Paseo de Gràcia the last way to reopen, predictably around 8:00 p.m.
Forbidden parking
From 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, vehicle parking is prohibited, including motorcycles on the sidewalks, throughout the area of influence of the race.
From 7.00 until 3 pm on Sunday, vehicles parked at: RBLA cannot be set. Catalunya (Calzada Besòs), from Aragó to Valencia. València, from Rbla. Catalunya to Pau Claris (both sides)
From 10.00 at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, those located in: London, from Aribau to Muntaner (both sides), can not be set in motion; Paris, from Muntaner to Aribau (both sides); Còrsega, from Aribau to Muntaner (both sides); Rosselló, from Muntaner to Aribau (both sides); Provença, from Aribau to Muntaner (both sides).
Aribau, from Mallorca to Provence (with Lados); Enric Granados, from Provence to Mallorca (with Lados); Balmes, from Provence to Mallorca (with lados); Pje. Merchant, from Provence to Mallorca (with Lados); Rbla. Catalonia (Calzada Besòs), from Aragon to Valencia; Josep Tarradellas (Calzada Besòs), from Avda. Sarrià until pl. Francesc Macià.
Public transportation
Several bus lines of Barcelona Metropolitans (TMB) will be affected by deviations or limitations on their journey during the competition. Users are recommended to plan their displacements in advance and consider the use of the subway as an alternative.
