Throughout the day, an open demonstration to the public of extinction tasks with water discharges from helicopters and amphibious plane will be carried out and the neighbors will be allowed to approach the vehicles to take photos and know their equipment.
The first exhibitions will be held from 11.00. The helicopters and the amphibious plane will make several water discharges, and a simulation of fire extinguishing with work on land and the participation of a hundred firefighters will also be carried out.
Then, from 12.25, the pasture will be open, first for schoolchildren to approach the helicopters, and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., it will be open for the general public.
As a complement to this activity, from the nature classrooms of the City of Collado Villalba an open session has been designed to the public, for those who want to inform the various aspects of fire prevention and extinction, which will take place during the same day on Friday, in the viewpoint of La Dehesa, next to the Moralzalzal road, from 10.30 to 12.00.
