After 17 on Saturday, May 3, when “El Oboe de Gabriel” began to sound, by Ennio Morricone, Tatiana “Tati” Bosch (30) entered his father’s arm, businessman Francisco “Franco” Bosch, through the central nave of the imposing basilic of the Holy Sacrament, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Retiro. On the altar, the boyfriend, the Spanish José María “Chema” Cánovas (32), elegant with Galera and Jaquette, who had entered ten minutes before his mother’s arm and with the chords of the anthem of Spain.
When XXL did not end on the weekend, more than 150 people – among family and friends – took Calle San Martín to accompany the bride and groom and to participate in the religious ceremony, which was officiated by the priest Martin Bracht and that made everyone excite: not only because of the magnificence of the basilica itself, but also by the shocking presence of the orchestra and the chorus of the Holy (many Columbus). And, in addition, by the seal of Spanish traditions: from the comb that Katia García de Blanes, the mother of the boyfriend (in Spain, it is common for the godmothers to take them), to the use of the jaquette by the Spanish witnesses who traveled for the wedding and, finally, because, at the end of the Mass of Esponsoles, the newly married made an offering to the virgin in one of the side.
When they left the Basilica, considered one of the most luxurious in Buenos Aires and the one chosen to celebrate the marriages of the Porteña High Society, they made it crossed: Magdalena “Mimi” Robirosa – who is also, is the mother of Baltazar and Silvestre, of his marriage to “Franco” – with José María Cánovas, the dad of the boyfriend.
It was also at one party, in another, in one that was organized in the Chamberí neighborhood four years ago in Madrid, where the love story emerged. Tatiana, who had been installed in Madrid for almost a year because she had gone to make a master’s degree, attended the celebration along with a friend of her, who, in turn, was a friend of the homeowner: José María Cánovas. Chema, as they call it, is dedicated to finance. One of Tatiana’s closest friends told HELLO! Argentina: “It was destiny because, the following month, she was already going to Buenos Aires again. She did not plan to stay in Spain and, in the end, for love, the plans changed: she ended up staying there.” Little by little, in these four years they were discovered thinking about their marriage and, after formalizing, they began to organize everything remote: from Madrid.
“On one of the trips they made together to Buenos Aires, Tati led Chema to know the basilica of the Blessed Sacrament, in retirement, and he was delighted: they decided that they would marry there,” said an close. The designer Evangelina Bomparola, whom Tati – who is dedicated to communication and is about to launch Rubita Studio – arrived on the recommendation of “Lulu” Cahen D’Anvers, was in charge of making the dress: “Tati wanted a very clean, simple design, and Evangelina knew how to interpret it perfectly. And, in addition, he did it with very few tests and in record time,” they reveal.
In the organization, Tati’s mother, “Mimi” Robirosa, was key: from the beginning to the end, he helped the bride and groom so that the good vibes would breathe at all times and in every detail.
When the date was defined, the Event Producer Rocío Zavalía was coupled to the team who, in part, was in charge of the logistics of the great Spanish contingent. It happens that they were nothing more and nothing less than 110 the guests who crossed the Atlantic Ocean to attend the wedding; And both to approach the Basilica and to cross Federal Capital and arrive through the Pan -American to Turtles Country Club – where the party was made for 300 guests -, they mobilized on several bus.

Around 19.30, in Tortugas, the party began, which had as its great protagonist a megacarpa set by the top Gloria César. “Incredible … Incredible; something never seen,” the guests repeat when they describe the place. There were not only spots with Moroccan style achieved with several kilms, but also others with Greco -Roman touches achieved with statues by Gabriel del Campo – the famous antiquarian – strategically installed on the site and in the libraries carried out by “Mimi” Robirosa. There were many flowers: at the tables and on the roof.
“Tati and Chema transmitted to Gloria what they wanted exactly: much of the inspiration of trips that the bride and groom have done,” said the bride’s friends. In addition to the finger food of the reception, the catering service – at the charge of EMME – offered a menu that included from empanaditas to prawns, gazpacho and dates with bacon with blue cheese until empty with sweet potato puree. It was when the wide variety of desserts – Brownies, truja, alfajores and pancakes of sweet milk with ice cream – that one of the most emotional moments arrived: while Mallenita de Álzaga, the grandmother of “tati”, threw himself to sing the famous “save spray”, the three hundred guests – Argentines and Spanish – sang together the “olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé, olé olé, olé, olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé, olé olé olé olé olé olé olé olé” He returned more and more powerful. “It was tremendously exciting,” they said.
Around 6 in the morning, while many delighted with lamb sandwiches to the cross or with croids, the bride and groom prepared to travel along with some of the Spanish friends towards Patagonia. The official honeymoon, they say, will come later.
