On Friday night he was dyed in Puebla after confirming the death of Salvador Bianchini Maldonado, director of Municipal Civil Protection, who just last February had assumed the responsibility of leading this key dependence.
The news began to spread through social networks, where colleagues, officials and rescue personnel expressed their surprise and regret. Salvador, known by many as “Chava”, was a loved figure in the field of emergency care and citizen protection.
Just a few days before, on April 29, he was active and committed during the national simulation made in the city’s Zocalo. There he coordinated actions with municipal authorities, demonstrating the leadership that characterized him.
Bianchini was officially appointed as Director of Civil Protection on February 1, replacing Gilberto González Labastida. In a few months, he managed to win the respect of his team and those who collaborated with him in situations of risk and prevention.
Preliminary versions indicate that he suffered a heart attack at home. Although he was urgently transferred to the Spanish Charity Hospital, unfortunately he could not be resuscitated.
The emergency and civil protection community has expressed a deep duel for its departure, recognizing the delivery, closeness and professionalism that Salvador Bianchini demonstrated until the last moment.
