Castellví is promoting maintenance work prior to summer. It will act along 50 hectares, including roads, green areas and fire protection stripes.
Castellví has launched periodic maintenance work prior to the summer season. The actions will cover an area of 50 hectares distributed throughout all neighborhoods, adding the urban green areas, the protection strips against forest fires and several roads. The budget amounts to 39,200 euros (VAT included).
The thickness of the actions will be the maintenance and care of the protection areas, which extend through the neighborhoods of the Taió, Can Sunyer, Valldaina and Miralles (33 hectares). In green areas, maintenance works will reach these same neighborhoods, the polygon and other wetter areas of the town (17 hectares). The works will intensify in Can Sunyer, where it is necessary to reduce the density of the woodland according to current regulations.
Finally, maintenance works will also act on two hectares of roads: Ca n’abat, Ca n’Aalegre and the path that links the taió with the rest of the town.
