A very positive first contact during the preseason tests, but with a very different reality in the first races, where Spanish has abandoned up to twice. Lack of adaptation of Hamilton

“It depends on how natural the car is, on the relationship with engineers… but to know a well car, you need minimum half a year. That does not mean you can’t give up. I want to do well from the first race, even if it is 97% instead of 100. But yes, you have to be demanding with oneself, ”he continued.
“It is true that this generation of cars requires a very specific driving style to be fast. In 2021, you could reach several paths at the same time. Now, if you do not drive that a specific way, you will not be fast. It is something that I have been understanding over time, looking at the data.
