“I really like the field layout, with holes for the left and the right,” Maxi said yesterday at a press conference, who chose Hole 5 as his favorite from the local field.
His good present and the positive experiences he reaped in our city, make him come as one of the candidates for the title.
“I am quite confident, but this is a game. Having won in Uruguay gave me confidence and that final push, it reconfires my good moment and really gives you confidence. We will try to do the best, the goal is to be up and fight the championship. Win it, obviously, it would be the best,” he was excited.
Once again, the local club had to work against counterreloj to put in conditions its formidable field, this time strongly affected by the tragic flood of March 7.
“In this context, being able to achieve the 44 Norpatagonic is really a feat, for all the partners that contribute to the club constantly, for the Board of Directors that has had to make fundamental decisions and direct resources to accommodate the club after the catastrophic event of March 7,” said Pablo Amorín, on behalf of Palihue.
When listing the causes that allowed him to achieve this, Amorín admitted that they were “multiple”, although he highlighted the thrust of the partners.
“There is an energy at the base of partners that is perceived daily and they are more than 1000, with more than 600 with play capacity. They have a daily use of the facilities and they are permanently looking for the return, the improvement, promoting this forward,” he thanked.
“I want to highlight the work of the staff,” he added, “which was up to it, even despite the fact that they were also affected in their homes. Also to all the sponsors that continue to support us,” Amorín closed.
