As part of the actions to promote animal welfare and bring free services to the colonies, the city government, through the Ministry of Municipal Environment, carried out an animal welfare day in the Miravalle neighborhood, benefiting dozens of families and their pets.
Services such as sterilization, antirrabic vaccination and veterinary advice were offered. These actions are part of the municipal strategy to promote responsible tenure and reduce the abandonment of animals.
The Secretary of the Environment, Iván Herrera, said that the city government works because the respect and care of animals is a priority.
“These days allow to bring services to citizens and strengthen awareness about animal welfare in all sectors,” he added.
With these actions, the government of the municipal president, Pepe Chedraui, reaffirms his commitment to continue with these days in different colonies of the municipality, promoting a culture of respect and protection towards pets.
