After 20 days of searching, the Colombian Navy announced that it will concentrate its efforts to strengthen the accompaniment to the authorities in the search on the mainland, both in urban and rural areas.
According to the institution, upon receiving the disappearance alert, they deployed a wide device in which surface units, coastguard, naval aviation, marine infantry and the military gaula worked.
Among the actions carried out: maritime patrols, flying, coastal inspections, underwater impersions and surveillance in strategic points of the city.
In the search work, an area of approximately 9,500 square kilometers with air support was covered, in addition to 3,000 square kilometers through surface explorations: river and coastal areas.

In addition, the Caribbean Oceanographic and Hydrographic Research Center (CIOH) also participated in search operations by developing models and hydrographic projections to identify possible areas of interest. In spite of this, these tasks have not yielded positive results that allow the whereabouts of the 23 -year -old Bogota.
In this case, the authorities called on the community for those who have important information that allows the location of Tatiana Hernández to call the telephone lines 123, 146 and 147, as well as Channel 16 of VHF Marino.
Despite the investigations advanced by the authorities, the records of video cameras, and the witnesses versions, there is still no track of the whereabouts of the young Bogota.

-Now, the Hernández Díaz family lawyer, Antonio Hernándezrevealed details of a private investigation that also works at the same time as the authorities, with the purpose of finding new inquiries in the case.
According to the family representative, in private research it was raised as a hypothesis that the 23 -year -old would be in the hands of third parties.
The lawyer also ruled out the possibility that Tatiana has launched into the sea.
“I do not think that it has drowned or suicide there is another stronger hypothesis. We ask the authorities to please accelerate their management as such fulfilling the constitutional duty to locate Tatiana Hernández Díaz.” He said in dialogue with ‘Caracol Radio’.
In addition, he sent a resounding message to the people who would allegedly have retained the student who was last seen by his classmates, when he left the Bocagrande Naval Hospitalin the capital of Bolívar.

“I send a notice to the people who have it and that we will find them sooner that early. In my experience I consider that they have it retained then we will see how research continues,” he added.
He also asked the Prosecutor’s Office Relax the investigations, because it considers that it advances in a slow pace.
“We apply prompt speeding of the investigation and the relevant captures are given. We understand that the Prosecutor’s Office is recharged, but in reality we consider that there is a fairly short management in the face of the scenario as such,” he said.
Finally, the lawyer said he will manage help from international investigators.
“I am preparing several memorials in that sense to request international aids, specifically from United States researchers”, He concluded.
