The Director of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences of the Autonomous university of Tamaulipas (UAT) in this capital Edy Izaguirre Treviño highlighted the importance of continuing to promote together with the students in the Bachelor of Communication Sciences Interdisciplinary Works that address health and well -being issues from a youth, innovative and responsible perspective.
He informed that during the most recent weeks students and students from various semesters have been exposing projects focused on topics such as mental health, menstrual health, sexuality and other topics that were previously considered taboo, using different digital platforms for dissemination.
“We have to highlight the importance of generating spaces where issues such as physical, emotional and mental health are addressed from a multidisciplinary approach, pointing out the change of time that demands new ways of teaching and communicating” Express.
He recognized student talent and the need to take advantage of the abilities of the four careers to build content that positively impact the university community.
He said that these meetings are indispensable, so that ideas and ways of discussing various topics arise in a way that is interesting and attractive to youth.
The activity is also part of a strategy to link with the State Ministry of Health (SST) and reinforces the commitment of the UAT, under the leadership of Rector Dámaso Anaya Alvarado, of generating a comprehensive education with social impact, demonstrating how student talent can become an agent of change inside and outside the classroom.
