The Higher School of Medicine of the National University of Mar del Plata (ESM-UNMDP) announced the launch of the Diploma in Neural Therapeutic Medicine (MNT), a training proposal that seeks to integrate modern scientific knowledge with holistic therapeutic approaches. The initiative is intended for doctors, dentists and veterinarians from Argentina and Latin America, with the aim of expanding clinical tools from a transdisciplinary perspective. Registration will be open until May 15.
Diploma starts from a vision that conceives Health as a fundamental human right and medicine as a practice that must go beyond disease care. In the words of the director of the ESM-UNMDP, Adrián Alasino, “the work of the health team begins before the disease, both individual and collective,” underlining the need to preserve health and not only intervene when it has deteriorated.
The Neural therapy medicine It has its origin in two parallel traditions: the Russian synthetic nervism, promoted by the Pavlov Pathophysiology School, and the neural therapy developed in Germany by the Huneke brothers, based on the clinical use of local anesthetics such as procaína. From the 70s, this practice expanded by Latin America, being systematized in Colombia as a complex medical system that today integrates disciplines such as neurobiology, quantum physics, epigenetics and psychoneuroimmunondocrinology.
This therapeutic approach understands to the nervous system as the great integrator of the organism and proposes to intervene in its irritation points by microinjection of anesthetic substances, with the aim of promoting the self -regulation and reorganization of the body. Unlike conventional medicine, the MNT raises an understanding of the disease from the biological, emotional, ecological and spiritual complexity of the human being.
The training consists of 240 watch hourswith an eight -month development and a mainly distance modality. The virtual classes will be issued on Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., while there will be two mandatory face -to -face instances in Mar del Plata: one in July and another in November 2025. The course is structured in Six seminars correlative that combine theory and practice.
To register, applicants must have a grade degree in Medicine, Dentistry or Veterinaryand present academic and personal documentation, together with an abbreviated curriculum. Evaluation instances include a distance theoretical examination, a face -to -face practical test and the presentation of an integrative final work.
The Diploma in MNT seeks not only to technically train health professionals, but also to promote critical thinking, dialogue of knowledge and a more human and horizontal medical-patient relationship. In this sense, it proposes a practice that transcends biomedicine without excluding it, recognizing multiple valid forms of interpreting and treating health and disease processes.
With this proposal, the Higher School of Medicine reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive, inclusive and strong anchoring in the social and cultural realities of the territories. The MNT, framed in the vision of a single health, represents a more step towards a more empathic, scientific and centered care model.
