Costa Rica will host International Congress on Aesthetic Medicine (+Photos)

The meeting, convened by the Scientific Association of Longevity and Aesthetic Medicine (ACCOLME) of the Central American country, “will discuss the most innovative global trends and technologies of this health sector,” said the president of that organization, Karla Aguilar.

According to the expert, the event will be “a transformative experience where science, innovation and networking converge to redefine the standards of our profession.”

The Congress will feature speakers and professionals from that branch from Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Belize, El Salvador, the United States, Guatemala, , Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Headquarters country.

The speakers- the accolme note- will share information and knowledge about facial harmonization, regenerative therapies, aesthetic dermatology, body remodeling, capillary treatments and medical devices.

“Aesthetic medicine is positioned as a key axis in the search for integral well -being and healthy beauty,” says a report linked to the meeting, entitled “The future of aesthetic medicine: a deep analysis from the perspective of science and health.”

The study highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in the of that sphere of health, “which promises to revolutionize more precise and personalized diagnostic treatments.”

The authors of the document indicate the presence of “an emerging integration of metoverso in medical practice, through immersive experiences, services reserves through avatars and the appearance of metaclinics, which represents a paradigmatic in the way of accessing aesthetic medicine.”

Some 14 million non -surgical aesthetic procedures were performed in the in 2023, with sustained growth year after year, according to data from the Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, published by ACCOLME.

These advances- the source dates- reflect a growing demand for minimally invasive interventions, promoted by factors such as population aging, the in economic well-being and the greatest social acceptance of these treatments.

Congress issues include advanced facial aesthetics, anti -aging medicine, aesthetic dermatology, gynecological , body remodeling, capillary treatments, tendencies in tensioning threads and bio -stimulating, energy devices and functional medicine applied to aesthetics.
