Madrid (EFE) .- Raphael announced on Wednesday its return to normal musical activity as of June 15, when it will offer a concert in Mérida, only four months after its hospital admission because of a cerebral lymphoma.
«With an immense illusion, today I can announce that on June 15 I will resume my agenda. I want to return, in the form of songs, all the love you have given me during this time, ”said the artist on his Instagram account.
In his message, Jienense has also assured “with enormous emotion” that he is “very well and deeply grateful”, starting with his family, “essential pillar for his unconditional love.”
“(Thank you) to all public health, for taking care of me with exemplary delivery, professionalism and humanity,” adds Raphael, which has directed specific greeting to the centers where he was attended, the October 12 hospital and the San Carlos clinician.
To his friends, colleagues, media and his audience are the following thanks, “therefore affection”, but also “for each message, for every thought and for being there even in the distance.”
“You have made me feel very accompanied and very dear,” said the artist in a message that concludes with a “I love you very much!”

His admission occurred on December 18, after he felt indisposed – he presented difficulties in speech – in the recording of the program ‘La Revuelta’ of Spanish Television.
Discarded the stroke after the first analysis, the artist was admitted for ten days in two different hospital centers in which a primary brain lymphoma was detected with two cerebral nodules in the left hemisphere that “justify the neurological symptoms” he presented.
After its discharge, it was already reported that Raphael, who is 81 years old today, had begun to receive specific treatment for this pathology and would continue to do so thereafter.
For this reason, the cancellation of the concerts that it had scheduled for the first months of 2025 in the United States, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico and Mexico was notified, as happened with the two special concerts that it should have held in Madrid on December 20 and 21.

Now Raphael will resume its normal agenda, as it has also confirmed its representation agency, with concerts such as the Roman Theater of Mérida within the Stone & Music cycle, as well as other appointments such as the Starlite Western Festival of Marbella on July 5 or the Concert Music Festival of Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz) on 12 of that month.
The other dates that appear at the moment collected on its website are Córdoba (September 20, Plaza de Toros), Murcia (October 4, Plaza de Toros), San Sebastián (October 11, Kursaal), Palma de Mallorca (October 24 and 25, Auditorium), Bilbao (November 29 and 30, Euskalduna Palace) and Granada (December 13, Sports Palace).
