Almost eight months after the death of Daniel “La Tota” Santillánhis daughter Daniela broke the silence and expressed his deep concern for the state of the judicial case that investigates his death. In an interview with Pure Show, Daniela denounced irregularities in the investigation and questioned the official version, which argues that the cause of death was a fire caused by an emotional outbreak of her father.
Visibly affected, Santillán’s daughter revealed an alarming fact: her father’s mobile phone never appeared or was manipulated, and no important information was removed from the device. “The phone was empty. I had no contacts. A person who never erased anything … is very rare, “he said, while noting that the Prosecutor’s Office has not given explanations about what happened with the mobile.
In addition, Daniela questioned the speed with which her father’s body was given: “They gave it to us a few hours, as if it were fast food. That is not normal. In such a delicate case, everything should have been analyzed thoroughly,” he said.
Although the official version argues that the fire was a self -inflicted act due to an emotional outbreak of Santillán, his daughter does not rule out other theories and was skeptical about the investigation: “I think they took advantage of their illness to close the case quickly without investigating accordingly.” With a clear call to justice, Daniela demanded answers and that the truth comes to light so that her father can rest in peace. The cause is still open and the family cries out for clarification.
