It is for the better,” said the journalist and driver, who crossed two hospitalizations due to addiction and mental health problems last year.
He then deepened how difficult such a decision can be: “It is a decision that costs, because one believes that he will lock him up, but the best thing that can happen to that person is for the family to make that decision.”

Ernestina recalled with affection the last time she saw Martín: “It was in Palito’s house in Turtles, a delicious roast. We were fine.” When he was consulted if, following his personal history, Martín had approached him for help, he replied with discretion: “What has spoken to Martín and with the whole family, because I love them all, it is something that I am going to keep for me.” And he closed with a hopeful reflection: “But I firmly believe in what I am telling you: it is the best decision that a family can make. And I am sure that Martín wants to be fine.”

There is no difference between alcohol and other things.”
“It started with signs, the thing is growing and how alcohol is like that it enters what is socially accepted. In the pandemic my two partners die and with the closed restaurant, there I started. I never used it to work but in other times outside of work,” he said about his worst moments.
“The first month I self -internile in a clinic with certain freedoms, I left and I had a very large relapse in Uruguay, and then my family’s pressure came to enter six and a half months. There I said: ‘From here I go with the medical discharge, not before.’
