The countdown to EuroVisión 2025 It has already begun and with it it is revealed, in part, one of the best kept secrets of the Spanish candidacy: the costumes of Melody. The Andalusian artist, who will represent Spain with her hymn of empowerment ‘That diva ‘composed of herself and Alberto Lorite, will wear an exclusive creation signed by the renowned designer Gustavo Adolfo Taríone of the most consolidated figures in the world of entertainment and scenic fashion.
Custom designed For such a special night, the styling that will be seen in the grand final of May 17 in Basel seeks to encapsulate not only the message of the song, but also the Personality of Melody and its artistic history. “For a designer it is a luxury to participate in such a project, since it is a very important event that you are still and you dream of doing it,” says Gustavo Adolfo Tarí.
In addition, he adds: “Diseñar for Melody is an honor, first because of its human quality, then for the great artist who is and, finally, by the connection that flows with her, which fills me with inspiration. It is the reflection of a woman I admire: fighter, working mother and with great talent.”
A visual ode to crafts and the contemporary diva
Although certain details are still secret to preserve the surprise factor, among the materials used, very personal resources of the designer stand out, where Crafts occupies a central place. “The costume is inspired by something very ours and the diva we have in mind, but taken to a higher level,” he says. “I can’t tell a lot, but it’s full of crafts, which is my forte.”
The design reflects the spirit of the song, a clear and powerful message that has guided the entire creative process: “This song is a hymn that fills my minds of referents of a current woman, which will be reflected in the costumes.”

The link between Melody and Gustavo Adolfo Tarí has been consolidated since the designer’s participation in the video clip of ‘ESE diva’, also accompanying it on their tour of Europe and in key moments, such as in the preparations or in the rest of the Copa del Rey final. This artistic relationship now finds its culminating point in the great Eurovisive night. “I think every designer has this dream and it is clear that the artist who can best identify with my style is Melody.”

Gustavo Adolfo Tarí: artisan of the show
Born in Torrellano, Elche, Gustavo Adolfo Tarí grew between threads, fabrics and patterns, influenced from an early age by the passion and trade of his mother dressmaker. It was in that family environment where he discovered his fascination with fashion, sewing his first school costumes with a mixture of innate intuition and creativity.
Initially, Gustavo focused on the Ready-to-wearparticipating in parades that were carried out in independent circuits and exhibiting their creations in renowned museums such as CCCB and Macba in Barcelona. After acquiring experience in spectacle tailors, he decided to completely devote himself to developing his own collections and specific orders.
