Mexico City. President Claudia Sheinbam expressed her rejection that Morena can become a state party and made it clear that there can be no collusion with “neither organized or white collar crime.”
In the letter that he sent to the national leadership of this party and that it was read in the sixth ordinary session of its National Council, he said that the Government of the Republic fulfills its tasks for the transformation of the country and the party fulfills its own. “For this, our party must be strengthened without falling into corporatisms. The organization is for the transformation. MORENA’s strength is the organization from below. Its base committees, its permanent contact with the people, as we know how to do it, house per house delivering the newspaper regeneration,” he said in the letter where he makes 10 recommendations.
Among them, that militants are leaded with honesty, humility and simplicity. “The paraphernalia of power is from the past of corruption and privileges, not from Morena. Let’s never fall into frivolity, consumerism and ambition for power and money. It is not of our movement to travel in private airplanes or helicopters, or have as longing to carry brand clothes, or treat people bad expensive restaurants ”.
Also that legislators should not walk in international congresses, using public resources to travel abroad to political tourism. It is only justified in a special situation for an indispensable task.
Sheinbaum pointed out that friendism, influence and nepotism is never allowed.
“It is essential that even when in the Constitution it was established that there can be no candidates in the immediate period of relatives in any position of popular election until 2030, Morena includes it from 2027,” he said.
In the document, the head of the Executive Power emphasized that the governments emanating from Morena must guarantee republican austerity and the proximity to the people.
He argued that Morena should not be forgotten from, otherwise, he will forget where he is going. “It is not to come to power, it is not the personal ambition that should guide us, but the well -being of the people.”
He asked his co -religionists to always remember that the end never justifies the media, because if on the way the principles are lost it will be difficult to recover them. “Let’s internalize that in the ways of doing politics, our honesty must be distinguished.”
It also asks them not to trust because what is at stake is much: the present and future of our nation.
