After failure, Viva Aerobus aircraft divert to Havana

An Aerobus Aerobus plane, which was heading from Miami to Mérida, was diverted emergency to Havana.

According to the reports, after a failure in one of its engines, Viva Aerobus’s plane was diverted to José Martí airport in Havana, Cuba.

User Ricardo Pérez Solís claimed the airline in social networks. “I am in Cuba for your engine failures on the VB755 flight plane, leaving Miami to Mérida; they tell us absolutely anything, horrible experience.

The Viva Aerobús airline responded to the user to attend the emergency by sending a plane to Havana. “Thank you for the fact, Ricardo. Emanuel Vilchis, another user, reported that an emergency landing was recorded with a single engine and even called his relatives to say goodbye to how complicated the landing was. The airline said the route diversion was due to an indication of low pressure in the engine. “The deviation was carried out following the established security protocols, prioritizing at all times the integrity of the passengers and the crew.” All passengers are well, have been informed and are being served in the wait room (SUE) of the airport, where they were also provided with and the necessary assistance during their wait in Havana, “the company said in a statement. The rescue plane is estimated Havana at 23:00 hrs to move passengers safely to their final destination in Mérida, Yucatán.
