Spain was paralyzed on April 28. The First great blackout in historywhich had the country without electricity for hours. In this period of time, a whole country joined around the sound of a faithful, unconditional apparatus and has never abandoned us: The radio.
The blackout left us unique scenes in which complete strangers found in this small device an emotional bond. The news that was heard through it was the only way to keep an updated population about what was happening at each point in the country. Once again, the radio showed that without it, many would have been lost and completely isolated.
In Los40 we have been defending the radio figure for years. Therefore, after what happened on April 28, we want to remember its importance and the role it played when everything went out. We raffle 40 radios!
What do you have to do to participate? Very easy: Fill the following form.
If you are one of the winners of the draw, we will contact you and you must answer within 24 hours. In case of doing so, we will send you one of the 40 analog radios of the AIWA brand. Specifically, that of the R-190 am/fm moelo.
Check here the legal basis of the contest.
As we mentioned in previous lines, the radio took us back to our most primitive version, and not precisely in bad sense. He reminded us that this device that our parents and grandparents always used for breakfast or while they cooked is of importance that we had forgotten. That simple device kept millions of connected people. Some even took advantage of the different programs to contact their families and let them know that everything was fine.
In short, the radio reminded us that what really matters is in the small things.
