South Africa will look to stay alive in the Tri-Nation ODI Series 2025 when they take on table-toppers India in a do-or-die clash at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday, May 7.
India started their campaign with a nine-wicket win in a rain-curtailed clash against Sri Lanka last month. In their following encounter against South Africa, the Women in Blue registered a 15-run win in what turned out to be a thrilling affair. Sri Lanka managed to stop India’s unbeaten run when they defeated Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. by three wickets on Sunday (May 4).
Meanwhile, South Africa have only played two games so far. After their defeat to India, the Laura Wolvaardt-led side lost to Sri Lanka by five wickets last week. A loss on Wednesday will make South Africa’s clash against Sri Lanka on Friday a dead rubber.

Spinners have found help, especially in the second innings. The captain who wins the toss should look to bat first.
