Thailand urges to avoid raw meat intake after the death of a man’s antrax

Bangkok, May 1 (EFE) .- The Thailand Ministry of urged to avoid the consumption of raw meat, after it was confirmed that a man died by Antrax in the city of Mukdahan, in the north of the country, where the authorities have increased health surveillance.

“The initial investigations suggest that the risk factor was the sacrifice of cattle and the distribution” of that meat among several neighbors, so the authorities initiated inquiries in the area.

Until now, at least 247 people were “in contact with the disease”, including 28 who participated in the sacrifice of cattle and 219 for having consumed raw meat.
