Jerusalem, May 3 (EFE) .- A child and a police officer died and several more people were injured in an Israeli attack in the city of Gaza, denounced this Saturday the Interior Ministry of the Government of Hamas, which described it as an attempt to undermine security in the strip and infuse chaos between a hungry population.
“Security force were directly attacked, on more than one occasion, by an Israeli plane on Friday night while carrying out their duty to maintain security in the city of Gaza and persecute criminals. This caused the death of a policeman and a child, and the injury of several other members of the security force and citizens,” said a statement in Telegram of the Ministry of Interior today.
According to Hamas, at the same time as 2.1 million gazaties face shortage of food and water due to the Israeli block that already lasts more than 60 days, Israel – as already made last year – continues to reduce the safety and police apparatus of Hamas, which is exploited by “saboteators” to loot and perpetrate “attacks and robberies of stores and public and private properties.”
