Moscow, May 4 (EFE) .- Russia has enough forces to win the war in Ukraine without resorting to nuclear weapons, said Russian President Vladimir Putin, in a documentary that will be broadcast on television today on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of his first investiture as head of the State, which is fulfilled on the next day 7, and whose fragments has begun to spread the Russian press.
“They wanted to cause us to make mistakes. But there was no need to use the weapons that you referred to. And I trust that it will not be necessary,” said the 72 -year president to his interlocutor.
According to Putin, there are “enough forces and resources to bring political term in 2022 with the result that Russia needs.”
The documentary, which will be projected today at 9:00 p.m. Moscow (19.00 GMT) was announced last Friday by the journalist Pável Zarubin, one of the authors of the film.
Putin’s first investiture took place May 7, 2000 after winning with 52.94 % of the votes the early presidential elections of March of that same year which he attended as acting president after the resignation of Borís Yeltsin, his predecessor.
