Twenty -five leading Israeli companies exhibit in Greece the new generation of proven efficacy defense systems, from autonomous drones and safe communication solutions to innovative energy technologies that transform the rules of the game into the modern battlefield.
The Ministry of Defense of Israel, through its Directorate of International Cooperation for Defense (Sibat), heads a large delegation of 25 Israeli defense companies in Defa 2025, the International Defense and Security Fair held in Athens, Greece, and is organized by the GDDIA and the Hellenic Association of Defense manufacturers. The impressive Israeli participation highlights the country’s position as one of the world leaders in defense technology and underlines collaboration between Israel and Greece.
As part of the delegation, nine innovative companies exhibit in the National Pavilion of Sibat, presenting a wide range of advanced efficiency technologies in combat in five key categories: safety and protection, weapons systems, unmanned and autonomous systems, electronic equipment and hardware, and cybercromunication systems.
In addition, 16 leading Israeli companies in Defense, including Elbit Systems, IAI and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, exhibited independently.
The Israeli pavilion receives numerous visitors throughout the exhibition, including official delegations, sector professionals and security experts. The exhibition serves as a platform for professional debates and networking opportunities, even more strengthening security relationships in the defense sector.
The head of Sibat, Brig. General (Res.) Yair Kulas said that «the relationship between Israel and Greece represents an extraordinary alliance, marked by mutual objectives. Our cooperation in defense strengthens regional security and contributes to stability.
