The City Council of Vitoria has condemned this Thursday the macho murder of a woman, who was a neighbor of the capital of Alavesa, on April 25 in the Rioja town of Haro, where he had moved a few days before.
The crime occurred around 6:15 p.m. The alleged author fled the domicile in which he lived with the victim, although he was located shortly after in the town center by the Civil Guard and the Local Police with the help of citizen collaboration.
The Consistory Vitorian has made a statement in the complaint that sexist violence is a serious violation of human rights, “being murder the most serious expression of machismo and a first -order social problem that threatens the dignity and physical and moral integrity, mainly of the women who suffer it.”
After knowing and confirming that the victim was a neighbor of Vitoria, the City Council made available to his family the psychological, legal and health, protection and reception resources that he requires.
In addition, he has summoned for this Friday a concentration of repulsion at noon this Friday in the Plaza de España de la Ciudad. EFE
