The president of the National Assembly of Popular Power and the State Council, Esteban Lazo Hernández, reached the easternmost of the Cuban provinces, on the occasion of the parliamentary visit that takes place since Thursday and until today, in Guantanamo.
The political bureau also held his first exchange in the municipality of Imías, in the Cajobabo-Veguita community, demarcation for which they landed, 130 years ago, José Martí and Máximo Gómez, in the expedition that aimed at the impulse of the necessary war.

As it passed through the town of Cajobabo, he was interested in the transformations of the community after the passage of Hurricane Oscar, last October, the planned investments that are taxed to community development, while explaining the energy situation facing the country and the roads to mitigate it.
Likewise, he informed the population that the parliamentary visit has among its objectives to evaluate the functioning of the municipal assemblies of popular power, the attention to the approaches made by the population emanating from the first process of rendering the delegate of the delegate to its voters, as well as the implementation of the government program to correct distortions and reimproof the economy.
Lazo also arrived in San Antonio del Sur, where he toured the retail company of vegetables Valle de Caujerí.
