students of the Batalla School of Vigirima, located in the Guacara municipality of the Carabobo state, presented the project exploring the universe: a trip through the Solar System, as part of the Astronomy and Aeronautical agenda promoted by the Foundation for the development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) of the entity.
The initiative seeks to promote scientific learning through interactive methodologies, aroused interest in science in children.
5th grade students developed drop -down and interactive notebooks and a mural newspaper to explore topics such as planets, the movement of the Earth and the Moon, combining creativity with educational content.
These activities allow strengthening skills such as observation, critical thinking and research, linked to the first vertex of the Great Mission Science, Technology and Innovation Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán, which promotes the incorporation of young people in scientific training processes.
The initiative reflects the national government’s commitment to the democratization of knowledge, aligned with the National Program Scientific Semilleros, which encourages early vocations in strategic areas for the development of the country.
