The city of Valera prepares to receive the Latin American free Software Festival (Flisol) 2025, which will be on May 9, starting at 8:00 in the morning, in the Francisco Prada Auditorium of the La Beatriz nucleus. The Trujillo State Polytechnic University «Mario Briceño Iragroury» (UPTTMBI) and the Foundation for the development of Science and Technology (Fundacite) lead the organization of this day to boost the promotion of open technologies
Flisol Valera 2025 is an initiative that seeks to democratize access to digital tools, to promote the use of collaborative platforms that enhance technological development. Participants will receive certificates for their assistance, and free software experts will share knowledge and experiences through interactive talks, workshops and spaces.
This free event has the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology, (MINCYT) Fundacite and the Territorial Polytechnic University, among other institutions that promote knowledge and technological innovation with inclusive approach.
The day represents an opportunity to strengthen the free software community in Venezuela and consolidate a development model based on open access to technology. Valera thus becomes a reference point for the progress of accessible and efficient digital solutions.
