The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, said Sunday through the social networks that the National Government will continue to guarantee stability, peace and the 13 engines of the country.
He pointed out that they seek to provide Venezuelans with products, services, “wealth and supply.” In addition, he recalled that in recent years the nation has faced an “economic war.”
“You have to see what this economic war has been (…) Where were we, where are we and where are we going? Now we are defending income because the economic war resumed it. You know who you have asked for the sanctions against Venezuela,” added President Maduro.
The National Executive said that despite tariffs and sanctions “against Venezuela”, the authorities try to obtain the necessary resources with the objective of “investing and protecting” the different areas, including housing, food, local committees of supply and production (CLAP), education, health and recreation.
“Protecting the working family integrally, that is vital, that is a backbone of our project. We learned to do a lot with anything. The one who defeats the people of Simón Bolívar has been born. He has not been born, nor will he be born,” he said.
The President of the Republic also congratulated the president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo for the Day of National Dignity held on May 4 in that nation.
