An unusual story
The auction star is a Porsche 959 Komfort of 1987 originally delivered to the jurgen lassig pilot, a 24 -hour LE MANS runner -up in 1987 and winner in Daytona in 1995. Initially configured in metallic silver with black leather interior and beige back, the 959 suffered a spectacular accident and sold with few kilometers in the scoreboard.

It was its new owner, Karl-Heinz ‘Charlie’ Feustel, Punto de Porsche and artisan par excellence, who decided to transform him into something never seen: a 959 ‘Speedster’. The project required more than 4,000 hours of work to achieve an impeccable result.
A BERLINA Masterpiece
The transformation was completed with a new Blanca Grand Prix and a blue leather interior, equipped with electric capot, removable rigid roof and Speedster style interchangeable windshield. The result was so fascinating that it deserved to be exhibited in the Frankfurt and Essen car halls in 1989.
