Longino Franquiz Domínguez, director of events of the agency, offered details about its main projects during a pleasant exchange with tour operators and specialized journalists.

Franchiz announced an with the Gran Caribe Hotel Group to enhance rural tourism on stairs of Jaruco, where a renovated installation and its natural environment will offer unique experiences in contact with nature. “This project combines sustainability and adventure, with hiking, observation of birds and ecological routes in one of the most authentic landscapes in Cuba,” he explained.

The main course of the presentation was the Turnat 2026 , which will be held from September 14 to 21 at the Ciénaga de Zapata and Mayabeque, considered the most important nature tourism event in the country. The edition promises circuits by wetlands and biosphere reserves; Adventure activities, local culture and conservation with the participation of international experts in ecotourism.

«Turnat is our showcase to show that Cuba is much more than sun and beach. We want to position ourselves as a leading destination in sustainable tourism, ”said Franquiz.
