And he noted that the whites were part of the “terrorist infrastructure” where attacks against India “planned and produced.”

The in New Delhi said that it did not attacked facilities in its neighboring country and added that its actions “have been focused, measures and without climbing.”

According to the Pakistan government, three areas of the country were affected by the attacks: Muzaffarabad and Kotli, in the Cashmiro region administered by Pakistan, and Bahawalpur, in the Pakistani of Punjab.

This is the worst attack against civilians in the region in about 20 years and generated a wave of rejections in India.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the country would persecute the suspects “until the end of the ” and that those who planned and carried out will receive “an unimaginable punishment.”

However, India has not identified any group suspected of perpetrating the attack in Pahalgam.

But the Indian police have claimed that two of the attackers were Pakistani citizens, and Delhi points to Pakistan of supporting extremist militants, an accusation that Islamabad denies.

The Pakistani authorities have indicated that they have nothing to do with the attacks on April 22.

In the two weeks since then, both countries have taken reprisals, including the expulsion of diplomats, the suspension of visas and the closure of border crossings.

But many already expected the situation to until it became a kind of transnational attack, as had been seen after the attacks of pulwama, which left 40 Indian paramilitaries dead in 2019.

Both countries have fought two wars for her.

But more recently, it has been the attacks of extremist militants that have led countries to the edge of the abyss.

The Kashmiro administered by India has been the scene of an armed insurgency against the Indian government since 1989, with extremists that attack both security forces and civil population.

This year was the large -scale attack against civilians since India revoked article 370, which granted Cashmiro the semi -autonomous status in 2019.

After the decision, the region was the scene of protests, but also of a decline in radical militancy and a huge increase in the number of tourists who visit it.

In 2016, after the death of 19 Indian soldiers in URI, India launched “preventive and specific attacks” through the control line – the de facto border between India and Pakistan – against centers of operations of extremist militants.

In 2019, the pulwama attack, which left 40 dead Indian paramilitaries, resulted in air attacks in Balakot-in what was the first action of this type in Pakistan since 1971-, and this triggered reprisal incursions and an air combat.

None of these attacks led to something more serious, but the whole world is now on to what could happen an escalation occurred. Various governments and diplomats around the world have tried to stop the deterioration of relations from the current situation.

The UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, has already requested “maximum moderation”, while the president of the United States, Donald Trump, said he hoped that the fighting “end very soon.”
