The protocol act was headed by the president of the Republic, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, who gave the official start to this sixth edition of the event, considered the most important in the sector in Latin America. On this occasion, FAMX brings together more than 600 companies from 40 leading countries in the aerospace industry.
The Chihuahuan president was part of the Honor Presidium, together with governors of other entities and members of the Federal Cabinet, thus reaffirming their commitment to innovation, competitiveness and the attraction of investments for their state.
The forum will take place from April 23 to 26 and includes foreign investment seminars, aerospace training workshops, technical conferences, panels on migration to the aeronautical industry and a leading women’s congress in the aerospace field, among other activities.
In the previous edition, held in 2023, FAMX was consolidated as a global reference and the only event of its kind in the world.
Currently, Chihuahua is the state that attracts the most foreign investment in the aerospace sector in Mexico. Companies such as Textron Aviation, Bell, Honeywell, Ez Air-Embraer and Bombardier already operate in the entity, which also has 45 certified companies in this industry.
During his visit, Campos sought to strengthen strategic links and consolidate alliances that favor the generation of jobs and economic growth of Chihuahuans.
