In Zulia 196 brigades participate in immunization campaign

Maracaibo, Apr 29. AVN.- With 196 Brigades of vaccinators deployed in the 21 municipalities of the Zulia state, the Bolivarian celebration of immunizations 2025 develops, which is focused on strengthening the immunization of the most vulnerable groups, in which they are under 6 years of age, schools, women in the period of gestation and indigenous population.

Naibellis Finol, Regional Coordinator of the Communal Network of Barrio Adentro in the Zulian entity, reported that, for this vaccination day, started on Monday, April 27 and will be held until May 4, the 64 areas of Comprehensive Community Health (ASIC) of the State, seven border posts and 98 points in schools and sites of large influx of people are active.

He said that the National Government, through the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPSalud), seeks with this immunization plan, that vulnerable groups have access to vaccines necessary to protect themselves against infectious diseases and, in general, protect the health of the people.

He announced the first vaccine report applied at the beginning of the plan, which registers 3,060 doses, in children between 1 and 10 years, in schools, nurseries and initial education centers.
