Emerging City and Google invite you to hack pollution in Santiago in Hacklab-IA-G5noticias

Showing that creativity and collaboration can accelerate actions against the climatic crisis and achieve a Santiago with zero carbon emissions, an emerging city announces the opening of inscriptions for “Hacklab-ia: Santiago Zero Carbon”, a programming laboratory promoted by artificial intelligence, which will take place in a two- hackaton, on May 30 and 31.

This instance has the challenge of transforming our city through innovative solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) to contribute to the decontamination of Santiago and achieve the goal of zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 for 2050.

This initiative is organized by an emerging and developed city together with Google through the community impact program of its Quilicura Data Center, and has the sponsorship of the National Artificial Intelligence Center (CENIA) and Mustakis Foundation.

The registrations to participate in “Hacklab-Aia: Santiago Cero Carbono” will be Open from April 15 to May 19 exclusively through following link. Only 30 ideas for competition will be selected.

The meeting is aimed at , professionals and people passionate about innovation, technology and climatic action. Participants will in interdisciplinary teams, collaborating with experts in the sector to develop concrete proposals with the potential to generate a real impact on the city of Santiago.

The participating teams must develop a prototype as a solution to the problem raised, who will have support of expert mentors in areas such as programming, artificial intelligence, sustainability, design and more. Then, a jury will reward the three teams with better scores.
