Ecuador applied the measure of demanding a vaccination certificate due to the increase in cases of yellow fever and coughing in the countryas well as the recent increase in the number of children’s deaths.

The authorities of the Ministry of Health of Ecuador reported the death of eight minors in the Amazon regionwhose causes have not yet been determined. However, an alert has been issued in the area due to cases of yellow fever and coughing.
For this reason, the health portfolio announced through the social network X that In the next few days a vaccination campaign will be carried out that will be part of the new protocols implemented nationwide to prevent future infections and face the health crisis that affects various regions of the country.
«We are not facing a national epidemic, but in faced situations. The most important thing is that these diseases can be controlled by acting with responsibility and unity, ”said Health Minister Edgar Lama, in relation to the implementation of preventive measures.
