The Ministry of defense (MINDEF) and the Private Investment (Proinversion) Promotion Agency of Peru, specialized technical agency, attached to the Ministry of Economy and Finance, organized the meeting “Investment Opportunities in Projects in Assets” to promote private investment in the sector. The initiative made available a total of 50 properties nationwide, which will allow the closure of gaps through the financing and execution of investment projects.
Under the modality of “Projects in Assets”, these properties are part of the 2025 pro -inversion portfolio and are intended for commercial, real estate, renewable energy, markets, industrial parks, among others.
Within that framework, the army presented land for renewable energy projects in Arequipa, a military camp with potential for beach club in Piura, and space for large stores in the town of Huacho.
-For its part, the Navy highlighted the availability of 11 properties in strategic locations, such as Ejidos 3, in Piura and the former Port Captaincy of Pacasmayo, in Trujillo, with great potential for the tourism and commercial sector.
The Air Force provided information about Air Group No. 6 in Chiclayo, ideal for educational or logistics centers; and a sector in Paita (Piura) with direct access to the sea and potential for hotels and restaurants.
