
The regional governor of Arequipa, Dr. Rohel Sánchez Sánchez, made the delivery of modern teams to the General Volunteer fire Department of Peru, as part of a policy to support the work they do for the benefit of the population.
Among the equipment delivered are a drone with laser and thermal camera, considered the most technology in its kind in the country; 15 anti -explosive lanterns, a fire chamber for fires, two towers of fires for fires and confined spaces, and two towers of light accidents lights.

The reception of the equipment was in charge of the general commander of the Fire Department, Brigadier General Juan Carlos Morales Carpio, who highlighted the gesture of the Regional Government of Arequipa as an example that should be replicated in other regions of the country, given the multiple equipment needs facing this institution.
During the ceremony, held at the headquarters of the Fire Department, the governor said that the delivery is part of a broader project that includes three components: equipment, mobile units and a telescopic scale. The total amount of the investment exceeds 60 million soles (S/ 60,000,000), financed through the mechanism of tax works.
