Peru condemns attack in Kashmir

The Government of Peru expressed on Wednesday its most energetic condemnation of the terrorist perpetrated in the town of Pahalgam, in the Jammu and Cashmira region, India, which left a balance of 26 people killed. Through an statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed its deep regret and extended its to the families of the victims, reiterating their rejection of terrorism in all its forms.

The Indian prime , Narendra Modi, described the fact as “a terrorist attack” and assured that will be done with those responsible. The attack has shocked the international community and occurs in a context of persistent tensions in this region of northern India, where violent episodes have already occurred in the past.
