Juan Gonzalo Zúñiga, 19, was sentenced to 25 years in prison, for sexually abusing his 6 -year -old cousin, on July 13, 2024 in the Sapallanga district, province of Huancayo.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, the day of the events, the child’s family, along with the defendant, left the house of an uncle who was sick. They went to the child’s parents’ house, which was close, just four blocks. The defendant rose to the child’s dad motorcycle and, suddenly, the child also climbed. The two advanced to the rest of the family.
Already in the house, the cousins entered the child of the child’s mother, who sat on his mother’s bed to see his favorite program, but was interrupted by the accused, who lowered his diver, doing his own to consummate the sexual veil and then retire to his home.
Upon arriving at her home, the child’s mother, she saw her son get her garments and interrogated him, the little one told him what his cousin did to him, and told him that it was the second time he hurt him, so he rebuked his nephew who denied everything and indicated that the child was lying.
The provincial deputy prosecutor, Pedro Núñez Romero, of the second office of the Second Provincial Prosecutor’s Office specialized in violence against women and the members of the Huancayo family group achieved a conviction, demonstrating reliable evidence and serious elements of conviction that demonstrated the guilt of the accused.
