Law 32324: Expanding scope of registration and amnesty for possession of civil gun of civil use

Article 1. Object of the Law

The purpose of this law is to register and amnesty the natural or legal persons whose acquisition or possession of firearms, or civil use ammunition are not registered or said persons do not have a property card or whose license for use and bearing is defeated or canceled by the competent authority, whether by loss of validity, due to of the manager or by personnel.

Article 2. Regulating

Article 2-A. Weapons understood

2-A.1. Unique Adaptation of regulations

The Executive Branch adapts the Regulation of Law 31694, law that establishes the registration and amnesty for possession of a civilian firearm, approved by Supreme Decree 001-2024-IN, to the modifications provided in this Law, within a period not exceeding sixty calendar days counted from its entry into .

THEREFORE:

Having been reconsidered by law by the Congress of the Republic, insisting on the text approved in session of the Plenary held on November 6, two thousand and twenty -four, in accordance with the provisions of article 108 of the Political Constitution of Peru, I order that it be published and complied with.
