UEFA Champions League 2024/25 closed its league phase with a record of 36 teams, more games and more money at stake. The new format, which replaced the classic group phase, not only altered the competitive calendar, but also the economic cast.
The economic awards to reach the final
Solo For participating, each club receives 18 million. To that were added 2.1 million per victory and 700,000 euros per draw in the eight league games. In addition, progress in the tournament meant cumulative awards: 11 million to reach eighths, 12.5 per rooms, 15 for semifinals, 18.5 for being runner -up and 25 million for lifting the trophy.

UEFA reaches records in prizes
Within the new Cycle of Club Competitions 2024–2027, a majority part of the total income of European club football will be distributed in prizes.
- Gross Income of Cycle 2024/25: 4.4 billion euros (includes Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and Super Cup).

Net income after organizational expenses: 3,548 million euros of that figure, 2,467 million (74.38%) will be allocated to the clubs that participate in the Champions League and the Super Cup.

- Equal income: 670 million euros, divided equally among the 36 clubs that play the League phase. Each team receives 18.62 million.
- Performance bonuses: 914 million euros distributed according to victories, draws, final classification and progress in the qualifying rounds.
- “Value Pillar” (Commercial Value Criteria): 853 million euros assigned according to the European history of the club and the value of the television market of its country. This figure replaces the old Market Pool and UEFA coefficient system separately.
Other relevant payments
- Clubs eliminated in the playoffs From Champions: They will receive 30 million euros together.
- Solidarity payments: Part of a global fund of 308 million euros, destined for clubs that do not participate in the League phase of any UEFA competition, but belonging to federations represented.
