The Madrid City Council does not clarify whether the driver who transported to the maximum police chief on Monday, when he ran over a girl, underwent an breathalyzer test. This test is mandatory when there are injuries, but the occupants of the vehicle left shortly after the arrival of an intervening patrol and the witnesses did not see that this measurement would be made. A spokesman for the Security and Emergencies Area has sent El País to the press cabinet of the Municipal Police, who has responded that they do not have that information.
The outrage happened on Monday during the great blackout and has taken more Madrid and PSOE to ask for explanations to Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida for several irregularities that suggest a different treatment than any other citizen had received.
